The Belgian Dandy review of Kyboe’s BS-005 Stealth watch goes on to state:
Sometimes an object leaves you flabbergasted after seeing it. Most of the time those objects are truly exclusive and quite expensive. Well, in the contemporary trend of black watches, matte or not, there’s one brand that stands out. And the funny thing is….it’s coming from Dutch brand Kyboe, especially known for its colorful watches. So, as we all know, the exception makes the rule!
And now it’s official: They’re here to stay! Black is back, but this time with a vengeance!
They jumped back right on the forefront in fine watches, as in apparel and accessories. The new blacks are judged not only by their color, but by their individual appeal.
The Kyboe Black Stealth watch is what is called a black-out watch. (Black-out meaning that all visible parts are made black.) Black-out watches are very versatile since they can be worn with everything from a tux to sweatpants. It is a very large watch, but that is the identity of Kyboe watches. It’s even their pitch: ‘Bigger is Better’. And they’re good at it.
But back to black again with the the Kyboe BS-005: You’ll hardly find a completely blacked-out watch that is more of a classic. The model says it all: Basic, retro-vintage, but yet the classic model of a masculine watch. Due to the fact that it’s completely blacked-out, it has that much appreciated ‘design-look’. Due to its black on black on black it’s what Batman would choose. Or Bruce Wayne, meaning that they look as good casual as with a tuxedo.
And if you really want to know about the quality, Belgian Dandy now has 3 Kyboe watches, and all of them are lasting. A steel one, a rose gold one (2 years old, still no gold coming off after 2 years of heavy duty wear: swimming, snorkeling, mowing the lawn, showering and bathing, etc…), and of course that trendy but lasting black stealth watch (BS-005), and all are perfectly waterproof).
