I LIKE BIG THINGS 

….including my watches!  If you don’t know, we’re pretty active on twitter, @SpoiledLAGirls.  Not annoyingly overwhelming and flooding the timeline, but we say what we want almost with no filter.  Over the course of maybe one month I noticed one tweeter, @KYBOEUSA responding to our tweets.  Their avi looked like Shakira wearing a bunch of watches.  We never really checked out their bio but did enjoy the conversations.  Then one day I clicked on their website, www.kyboeusa.com, and couldn’t contain myself!  BIG.WATCHES.

Not only were they big but they were also colorful.  Some are definitely in your face!  I really love the use of color throughout all the collections.  I was gifted the Masterpiece ($360) watch from the gold series collection.  It was sent to Jenn’s house and I couldn’t wait for it to get in my hands.  We were on our way to a Habitual Denim event at STK.  Now,  although I am not the type to apply makeup while driving, I will however, rip a box open to retrieve a gift. Yes I did. During rush hour on La Cienega Boulevard.

I put it on without even adjusting the time.  I walked into STK at 8pm, but my Kyboe watch said, 11pm. This watch fit my small wrists thanks to the rubber band.  I think the navy color really stands out and is different compared to the typical gold or black boyfriend watch.

The design concept and inspiration behind Kyobe is big watches for fun people!  They come in two sizes a 55mm face and a 48mm face, which is the one I got.  And thank God, because I don’t even want to know how big the 55mm would look on my itty biddy wrists, but I’m sure I’d be able to handle it ; )
